New MW2 Season 2 maps
As it stands, we’re currently looking at three new maps coming at launch to in the Season 2. These are the return of fan favorite Dome, and also Valderas Museum, and for Warzone 2.0, Ashika Island. Let’s take a look at them.
Dome
Whilst it might not be completely fair to call this a new map, it is in fact new to Modern Warfare 2, coming out this Season 2 launch. Fans will know this version of the map from Modern Warfare 3, with some additional tweaks.
Valderas Museum
This is one of the maps that was featured in the beta. It’s a larger 6v6, with many staircases and open areas for mid-range fights. Strangely enough, this wasn’t included at launch. Perhaps as is the case with the set back in Season 2, work needed to be done on Museum.
Zaya Observatory and Al Malik International will also be made available for Battle modes.
Ashika Island (Warzone 2.0)
This is Warzone 2’s new Resurgence Mode map. However, it will also feature in DMZ. It’s a smaller map than Al Mazrah, and has huge differences in structure and topography.
