Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 got into the full swing of launch over the weekend, and a lot of people are having a lot of fun with the game. Call Of Duty games always tend to do rather well, as they appeal to both a mass audience of people and a niche subset of people that love competitive gaming. The thing is, the game has launched in a rather buggy state, with one of these bugs causing people to not the MW2 showcase is not working.

MW2 Showcase Not Working

There’s no official word of why the MW2 showcase not working bug is happening, and due to this, there are also absolutely no official fixes. You can however try the following:

• Restart your game. Sometimes the simplest solutions are the best and the last ones we think of.
• Turn your graphics setting on demand texture streaming option on and off.
• Re-install the game. This is the absolute final step, and should only be done if nothing else works, so if you’ve got here godspeed and good luck.

Hopefully, we will get an official fix within the next few days and some kind of statement from Activision-Blizzard themselves.

What Is The Showcase?

The MW2 showcase is a selection of operators that you can equip alongside your character. A showcase operator is what appears alongside your tag in any and all Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer lobbies.

These are also the characters that you’ll actually be playing as in MW2 multiplayer and are what other players will see while they’re shooting at you. This basically means that you can heavily customize exactly what you want to be and what you want to look like to other players at all times!
