Unfortunately, NHL 24 is not going to be on Game Pass. EA Sports titles usually make their way to Game Pass, which is why hopes were high for NHL 24.
Will we ever see NHL 24 on Game Pass?
Now, while NHL 24 isn’t going to join Microsoft’s subscription-based service on day one, it does not mean that it won’t get added to the library in the future. This is because NHL is one of EA’s biggest franchises, and players are always willing to pay full price on day one for a new release. Therefore, making it available for Game Pass users instantly will prevent EA from making tons of money from it.
If we look at what happened previously, NHL 23 was made available on Game Pass six months after its release. The game was launched in October 2022, but Game Pass owners got access to it in April 2023. If EA is planning the same for NHL 24, then the game might become available on Game Pass in April 2024.
Nevertheless, if you are a Game Pass user, then you have two options. You can either purchase the game at full price when it gets released or wait for six or more months and play it after it becomes available on Game Pass. The choice is yours.
