Nintendo Switch users are always looking forward to seeing new video games on their platforms. While a lot of titles are available for the handheld console, some popular titles fail to launch on it. As for NHL 24, a lot of users are wondering if it is coming to Nintendo Switch or not.
NHL 24 is the latest installment in the ice hockey game series. The latest part will bring new features, such as crossplay and the addition of female players in the Hockey Ultimate Team. Will NHL 24 get released for Nintendo Switch?
Unfortunately, NHL 24 is not coming to Nintendo Switch. This is going to leave a lot of Switch users disappointed, as they wanted to play the latest ice hockey game. Instead, the game will become available only for the major platforms, which include PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/Series S.
It is great to see that the developers are releasing it for older-generation consoles as well. However, Nintendo Switch users will need to switch to a different platform to try it. This shouldn’t surprise anyone, considering NHL games are not usually available on Nintendo. The last NHL video game that was released on a Nintendo console was NHL 06 for the GameCube.
Will we see it in the future?
At the moment, EA Sports has shared no plans of bringing NHL 24 to Nintendo Switch. No one from the team has talked about it, so it is highly unlikely that they are going to announce something about it in the future.
The reason why NHL 24 isn’t getting released on Nintendo Switch might be its high-demanding nature. While the Nintendo Switch is an amazing console, it is not capable of running every game.
