Payday fans have been eagerly waiting for the third part of the series to arrive for more than a decade. And now that it has been finally released, they can enjoy the all-new heists set at different locations. But is Payday 3 coming to Nintendo Switch? This is a question a lot of Switch users currently have in their minds.

Video games these days are released for almost every platform, but some games are meant for specific platforms only. As for Payday 3, it is an advanced game featuring high-performance gameplay and improved graphics. All of this makes it a game that can run only on big platforms.

Is Payday 3 on Nintendo Switch?

Unfortunately, Payday 3 is not available on the Nintendo Switch. The game’s developers, Starbreeze Studios, released it only for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. Users of the last generation consoles can also not enjoy the game, as the game was not released for PS4 and Xbox One.

At the time of writing, the game’s developers have shared no plans to release Payday 3 on Nintendo Switch. The reason why the game’s not available for the Switch is its demanding nature. The Nintendo Switch is an amazing platform, but it can not handle a game of such a caliber. Therefore, it was obvious for the devs to release it only for PC and next-gen consoles.

While the game is not available for Switch users, you can enjoy it for free on PC. But for this, you will need a Game Pass subscription. This will cost you around $9.99 per month. However, if you’re getting it for the first time, you’ll only need to pay $1 for the first three months. But make sure you check the system requirements for it before getting a copy.
