What guns should you be using in Payday 3? The game is full of signature weapons from heavy assault rifles to stealth-focused silenced pistols. Each heist is unique and will require a different plan. Because of this, you want to make sure you know all of the best weapons.

Maybe you want to be loud and carry around a shotgun while you search for the basement code. Perhaps you want something with less recoil and better accuracy. There is plenty to choose from in the game.

Whether you are trying to flip the right switches in the bank or stealing the executive’s deposit box, you want a weapon that will stand up to the occasion. Here are the best weapons in Payday 3.

Best weapons in Payday 3

When it comes to the best weapons in Payday 3, a few of them come to mind:

  • Car-4 Monument Assault Rifle
  • VF-7S Assault Rifle
  • KU-59 Assault Rifle
  • SP Model 11 Pistol
  • Porch King Shotgun
  • SA A144 Marksman Rifle

Let’s break down why each of these weapons is good. There are some other great weapons that we don’t mention like the Reinfeld, Ziv Commando, J&M Castigo, and Sforza Bison. These are all decent choices as well.

Car-4 Monument Assault Rifle

This gun may seem familiar because you start the game off with the base Car-4 assault rifle. While this is an okay starting weapon, its predecessor, the Car-4 Monument, exceeds it in every way.

You will need to grind for a little while before you can unlock this weapon. This is because it is unlocked at Infamy Level 100. After that, you need to purchase it using C-Stacks. Despite the hard work, it will be worth it when you get a very powerful assault rifle that is very damage-focused.

VF-7S Assault Rifle

You will unlock this monstrous assault rifle at Infamy Level 77. While not as strong as the Monument, the VF-7S is a great assault rifle with good recoil that won’t have you spraying bullets everywhere. Any Heister will be happy using this weapon.

KU-59 Assault Rifle

Onto the last assault rifle on the list, the KU-59 is essentially a classic AK-47 with a different name. It has great hip-fire accuracy and is great for those who want to take on a heist loudly and avoid stealth.

This weapon is meant for mid-range combat and can easily mow down foes who get in your way. Of course, there is a considerable amount of recoil when looking down sight so be prepared.

SP Model 11 Pistol

The Signature 40 may be the starting pistol and may be decently strong, but nothing beats the SP Model 11. This pistol is great for both loud missions and when you want to be stealthy. Place a silencer on it for those important stealth missions.

If you want to go loud, remove the silencer and this thing will hit like a truck. It is able to take down enemies with ease to help you get the loot faster.

Porch King Shotgun

The Porch King is a pump action shotgun that far exceeds others in the game like the Mosconi. This weapon can fire pretty rapidly and has a decently sized magazine. When firing this weapon, the recoil is surprisingly limited and shouldn’t throw you off.

You will unlock the Porch King at Infamy Level 93. It will be a bit of a grind to unlock, but the damage output is worth it if you are a fan of the loud approach.

SA A144 Marksman Rifle

The base stats of this weapon may initially turn you away from it but it is actually better than you might think. The SA A144 has a ton of attachments that really help you do anything with it. It is really a jack-of-all-trades type of gun.

You will unlock this weapon very early on in your career at Infamy Level 15. After that, you can start modifying it and turning it into whatever you want.
