Winning these battles will give players the chance to capture one of their Shadow Pokémon, which can be purified for a CP boost or left as a Shadow Pokémon with higher attack stats for competitive-minded players or those looking to master Raid battles.

Best team to beat Arlo Pokémon Go

Best team to beat Arlo in Pokemon Go One of the best teams you can take into battle against Arlo in Pokemon Go is Lucario, Darkrai, and Garchomp.

A solid Fighting-type Pokemon like Lucario is a great option for Teddiursa, which is Arlo’s guaranteed first team member.

While the adorable Teddiursa might not be much of a threat, it does only have one weakness which is why it’s important to target that.

The most versatile thing you can have on your team is a strong Dark-type Pokemon like Darkrai. This will be able to take down three of Arlo’s potential Pokemon: Hypno, Golurk, and Banette. You can swap this for a powerful Ghost-type like Gengar for the same effect.

Your final team member should be a strong Ground-type like Garchomp, as this will be able to defeat Blaziken and Luxray. This is especially important for the Electric-type Luxray, as its only weakness is Ground-type attacks.

The only potential member of Arlo’s lineup that’s not covered by this team is Scizor. If Arlo does send out Scizor, you’ll need to switch a member of your team out for a strong Fire-type like Charizard, as Scizor’s only weakness is Fire-type attacks.

Remember that you can rematch Arlo as often as you like until you defeat him, so if you do find yourself struggling, you’ll be able to leave and switch up your team before you go back in for the win.
