Tapu Lele is the second Island Guardian – following Tapu Koko – and the Fairy and Psychic-type Legendary is taking over Five-Star raids in Pokémon GO. The guardian deity for Akala Island, Tapu Lele makes its Pokémon GO debut as part of the Season of Alola, coinciding with a new research story based on the island starting from March 22, 2022.
Best Tapu Lele counters in Pokémon GO
As Tapu Lele is a Psychic and Fairy-type Pokémon, its best counters will include a mix of Steel, Ghost and Poison-type Pokémon. Here are a few top picks, but any strong Pokémon you have with those move types will be competent opponents to Tapu Lele. Don’t forget, as Tapu Lele is a Five-Star Raid boss, you will need a team to be in with a chance of winning against it.
