Capcom’s Street Fighter franchise has been around for a long time and it keeps evolving. One thing has always stayed the same, however, and that is Ryu and Ken. These two have been the poster children of the series since the beginning.
Fans have grown up playing as Ryu in many games in the Street Fighter series. Naturally, many fans wonder how old Ryu is at this point in his career. After all, he has been kicking it for a while and has thrown out many punches and Hadoken. So what is Ryu’s age in Street Fighter 6?
What is Ryu’s age in Street Fighter 6?
There is a lot of estimation around Ryu’s age. Some say that he is 58 years old while others are on the fence and state that he is between 40 and 50 years old.
If you take Ryu’s birthday into account. He was born in 1964. This means that he should be around the age of 59. Since the game takes place in 2024, this seems like an accurate assumption if we take real time into account. Ryu sure is doing well to be able to fire off those Shoryuken.
It was confirmed that during the events of Street Fighter 3, Ryu was 33 years old – far from being a teenager. Ken Masters, Ryu’s best friend, is guessed to be around the same age.
