Dota 2, a five-player online battle arena (MOBA) has been popular over the years. We’ve now created a heroes list from Tier S to B
This is to ensure you’re choosing the right heroes for you to climb effectively!
The aim of the game is to collectively destroy a large structure defended by the opposing team, whilst defending their own.
Each player controls unique abilities from ‘heroes’ and must cooperate to complete objectives.

With Dota 2 peak at around 700,000 players a day.
It is one of Valve’s most successful games on the Steam platform.
S-tier heroes
The best of the best, these heroes are incredibly strong and are considered ‘hyper-carries’ to the path to victory.
If you play solo queue a lot, these heroes can propel your chances of carrying yourself into higher ranks.

A-tier heroes
These heroes are also strong, but not as strong as S-tier heroes. Whilst S-tier heroes are meta heavy, these are worth considering.
These would be considered the average heroes out of the crop which are consistently picked.

The weakest of them all. These heroes are not bad however they’re not strong by any means.
To get the most potential out of these heroes, being able to master them will unlock their potential.

If you want to climb as effectively as possible, choosing the S-tier heroes are efficient as you’re playing towards the ‘meta’.
What is the ‘meta’ gaming?
In general though, the “meta” in gaming refers to the most effective or popular way to play the game.
This can be determined by things like data analysis, player feedback, and professional competitive play.
It’s always changing too, so what was once the meta may not be anymore.
This will also affect this tier list too, once further patch notes are revealed – tier lists may alter!
