The latest Zelda game released is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Although this game was released in 2017, thankfully, fans of the popular Legend of Zelda series can rejoice because the direct sequel, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, is on its way.
When can you play the latest Zelda game on the Switch?
Now that you know of the newest game in the Zelda franchise, TotK, it’s not surprising that you want to know its release date. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s launch date is May 12, 2023.
Based on the trailers of the TotK game, we can expect that the latest installment of the game will be an open world in which you can explore the same map as the Breath of the Wild game.
