Is there a Zelda Tears of the Kingdom early access? The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is nearly here, and so all attention is on exactly when you’re able to play it? The good news we have created a few articles to help give you the intel you need – from what time we think the game will launch to when you’ll be able to preload it.

As with every game, you’re currently able to pre-order Tears of the Kingdom – but does that grant you early access? And if not, are there any other legal ways of playing the game early? Here’s what you need to know.

Can I play The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom early?

In short, no. There is no way of playing of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom early – legally at least. You’ll need to wait for the official release date for that. What you will be able to do is preload the game on to the Switch – and we’ve pulled together a preload guide for about that.

This is not an unusual move for Nintendo. Just like with another Nintendo IP, Splatoon 3, there was no early access but there was a preload period that allowed people to download the game ahead of launch – although this will be locked.

There ae reports that the game has been pirated, and some gamers have managed to get their hands on it early. We do not advise doing this, instead we strongly recommend waiting for the release date and staying away from Zelda forums if you don’t want to spoil the game.
