There are more leaks than on a rusty submarine at the moment with the latest AMD GPUs on the horizon. Noted tech leaker Rogame has been tweeting away with a load of numbers that have got the internet talking.

Rogame is suggesting the following in a series of tweets today.

AMD Radeon RX 6000 Series Navi 21 XT “Big Navi” GPU Clocks

  • Base clock 1450MHz to 1500MHz
  • Game clock 2000MHz to 2100MHz
  • Boost clock 2200MHz to 2400MHz

AMD Radeon RX 6000 Series Navi 21 XL “Big Navi” GPU Clocks

  • Base clock 1350MHz to 1400MHz
  • Game clock 1800MHz to 1900MHz
  • Boost clock 2100MHz (maybe 2200MHz)

If this is anywhere close to accurate we are looking at up to 700Mhz difference between the base and boost clocks which is borderline crazy. We are still a little while from seeing the cards launched by AMD, with the event penned in for the end of the month but it looks like there might be a steady stream of info dripping out ahead of time.

It’s going to be an interesting period for Nvidia until they get their house in order and a decent supply line of 30-series cards into stockists’ hands.

Whether these numbers pan out or not is still up in the air at the moment but they are certainly enough to get people talking a couple of weeks out from seeing the official stuff.
