We don’t know whether Ryzen 5 8600G pre order options will go live, though they may be available on retailers like Amazon between the launch/reveal event and the released date proper, but we’ll have to wait and see.
AMD Ryzen 5 8600G specs
The entire Ryzen 8000G series is constructed with the same the Zen 4 architecture found in the previous gen, however the main improvements are with the integrated graphics and AI processing (pretty similar to Intel’s 14th gen series which they directly compete with). There is also an anticipation of enhanced power efficiency.
The 8700G will feature Radeon 760M integrated graphics, developed on RDNA 3 technology. It will also be one of the first desktop PC processors to incorporate NPUs, which will be particularly useful for AI-powered software and creative workloads, plus specific features such as AI noise-canceling.
