Are you looking for a massive discount on the new AMD 7000 X3D CPUs? Now might be the right time to buy. It seems AMD has lowered the price of its Ryzen X3D series CPUs following the recent disappointing release of the 14th-generation Intel CPUs. AMD knows that consumers might be looking elsewhere to meet their CPU needs.

The X3D CPUs from AMD are relatively new, with the 7950X3D and the 7900X3D released last January, and the 7800X3D in April of this year, meaning you’re not going to have any problems with future proofing if you opt for these massive cache beasts.

It’s not just AM5 CPUs that are getting some love, we recently reported on the fact that the 5800X3D is due to get a huge discount, if history repeats itself.

AMD Ryzen X3D CPUs are the fastest gaming Chips

If you want to equip your PC with the latest in gaming CPU technology, then these Ryzen X3D CPUs are certainly right for you. You might wish to hold out until Black Friday, rather than buy now since it’s only around the corner. That’s fine, it might be a smart move, but we cannot promise Black Friday will bring you the same discounts.

There is a trade-off with X3D CPUs

The issue with X3D CPUs isn’t that they’re the fastest CPUs in the world for gaming performance. It isn’t that they can get a little toasty when under heavy load, but it’s the multi-core performance that suffers slightly as a result of being equipped with 3D V-cache. Because the new cache is sensitive to high voltages and temperatures, AMD has had to disable all manual overclocking and tone down one of the CCDs that the 3D cache is attached to.

In short, the X3D processors won’t do as well in multi-core workloads as their non-X3D brothers. But for pure gaming, they rocket ahead of even the fiercest competition. If you want to learn more about the performance of these CPUs check out this Gamers Nexus video
