Dead By Daylight’s Public Test Build received its 6.0.0 update featuring a ton of new content. Progress and save data information from your account will be carried over from May 11th’s save state but no progress made during your time on the PTB will be carried forward. The update features a new killer, a new survivor, and a ton of gameplay changes that players will be excited about.
The Dredge is Dead By Daylight’s Newest Killer
Dredge’s perk is Dissolution. Three seconds after injuring a survivor by any means, Dissolution activates for a certain amount of time. While Dissolution is active, if a survivor fast vaults over a pallet inside of your Terror Radius, the Entity will break the pallet at the end of the vault, and Dissolution deactivates. When you open a locker with Dredge, the auras of all Survivors within 8 meters of any lockers are revealed to you which is also a very unique ability.
Haddie Kaur Joins DBD’s Band of Survivors
Haddie Kaur is one of the most interesting Survivors in DBD. You can see other Survivors’ Scratch Marks within a 32 meters range of you with Haddie Kaur. Whenever another Survivor loses a health state within your perk’s range, the Killer’s aura is revealed to you for a short duration. Haddie’s perk grants the ability to rummage through an opened chest once per Trial and will guarantee a basic Flashlight which can be very useful.
The New Public Test Build Will Be Live Until June 7
While the new update is exciting, it does have some bugs which you need to be aware of. When using the old Wiggle system, survivors will be presented with an extra skill check after being grabbed by The Dredge in a locker. It is recommended to opt into the New Wiggle Interaction in the Beta tab of the Settings menu. Survivors entering the Killers terror radius that are already healing are unaffected by the Blindness and Exhaustion status effects from the Septic Touch perk which is another game breaking issue in the new 6.0.0 update.
