Fortnite’s fan-favorite item to return soon, leak shows

Do you want to know what fan-favorite item may return to Fortnite? Epic Games and Fortnite will tease various items or characters in trailers or drip marketing. A similar pattern occurred with Ahsoka Tano, who was revealed to be released later in the Season.

A new leak shows the Kinetic Blade item may return to Fortnite

Fortnite and Epic Games are known to tease many items or characters. In August 2023, Fortnite released a cinematic trailer for its latest Season Last Resort. This cinematic trailer shows Vampire Kado Throne with the fan-favorite weapon, the Kinetic Blade. However, according to a Fortnite leak on X (formerly Twitter), it’s likely that the Kinetic Blade will return for the Fortnitemares events.

In addition to the return of the item, it will have the codename Katana_Vampire. The Kinetic Blade will also have new impact textures upon its return. However, this has not been confirmed yet by Fortnite. Due to the Kinetic Blade belonging to Kado Throne, it is also suspected it will have Mythic rarity. This is due to many Mythic Items being Boss drops.

The Kinetic Blade will likely make its return during the Fortnitemares event. Since the event has everything to do with spooky themes, the Katana_Vampire is on theme. However, there has yet to be any confirmation from Epic Games.

The Kinetic Blade has two rarities, one Rare and the other Epic. While the Damage and cooldown remain the same, there are slight differences between the two. The Rare Kinetic Blade has two dashes, while the Epic has three. As you increase the rarity, it is likely the Katana_Vampire will have more.
