Fortnite players will finally be getting these long-awaited skins
According to a new leak by a popular Fortnite leaker, iFireMonkey, on X, Fortnite has released a new update that includes the FNCS Global Championship shop assets to the game data files. As a result, these long-awaited skins and cosmetic items could return to the Item Shop in Fortnite. However, the release date of these long-awaited skins has not been confirmed by Epic Games.
The FNCS Global Championship event was held from October 13 to 15, 2023. As a result, many Fortnite players could earn rewards from participating in matches, such as the Community Cup, or earn Fortnite Drop for rewards. Those who have competed in the FNCS Global Championship Community Cup had the chance to obtain various cosmetic items.
These cosmetic items also made their way to the Item Shop with the release of the Fortnitemares content update, v26.30. According to the well-known leakers, these long-awaited skins and cosmetics will likely return to the Item Shop with their missing cosmetics. However, the release date for the FNCS Global Championship’s long-awaited skins has not been confirmed by Epic Games.
As mentioned above, these were not the only rewards Fortnite players could obtain. If you watched the FNCS competition, you could also obtain four Fortnite drops by watching the competition each day. However, in the official Fortnite blog post, Epic Games stated these items will become available for purchase in the Item Shop later.
