The new Fortnitemare 2023 event brings two new items you will need to prepare yourself for the event. Along with each new Fortnitemares event, you can expect plenty of new cosmetics, items, and challenges.

Two new items are available in Fortnitemares 2023
According to a new leak by a well-known leaker, Hypex on X (formerly Twitter), two new items have been added to the Battle Royale. The two new items added to Fortnitemares are the Wood Stake Shotgun and Throne’s Vampiric Blade. These new weapons are great to own as you will need them during the Fortnitemares events.
- Throne’s Vampiric Blade: Kado Throne’s custom forged Kinetic Balde, imbued with the ability to siphon health from enemies with each hit.
- Wood Stake Shotgun: Fires wooden stakes that deal significant damage at close ranges. Created to fight vampires and the undead – but still good against most things.

Throne’s Vampiric Blade has been teased since the start of Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 4: Last Resort. In the Fortnite cinematic trailer, we see the vampire villain with the Kinetic Blade on his back. With this new weapon, you won’t have to worry too much about health, as you can easily siphon it from your enemies.
As for the High Stakes’ Shotgun, you need this item to take down vampires and any undead monsters in the Fortnitemares Horde Rush event.
