One of the latest Fortnite leaks showed the stats of the upcoming Mythic weapon. The weapon was first showcased in the trailer for Chapter 4 – Season 3, which is why many players believed it would be released at the start of the season. This, however, was not the case.

Instead of releasing the new Mythic weapon with the new season, Epic Games saved it for another time. Due to this, there is a decent chance that the new rifle will be released with the v25.10 Fortnite update.

Thanks to the leak, we now have an idea of what the upcoming weapon will be like.

Fortnite leak reveals interesting information regarding a new Mythic weapon

The upcoming weapon is called the Explosive Repeater Rifle. It looks similar to the Lever Action Rifle, a weapon that was first released in Chapter 2 – Season 5. However, the weapon uses shotgun sounds, for some reason.

According to Wensoing, a popular Fortnite leaker, the weapon will come in four different rarities: Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic. The Explosive Repeater Rifle will be found in various loot sources, from floor loot to chests. Players will also be able to get it from Holo-Chests.

At the moment, there is no information on where players will be able to find the Mythic version of the weapon. However, considering that the Cybertron Cannon is a Mythic weapon that can be found almost anywhere, this could also be the case with the upcoming rifle.

The leaker also claims that the Legendary version of the weapon will have an explosion radius of 2.6 meters, while the Mythic version will have a radius of 3.5 meters, which is nearly 40% bigger.

Detailed stats of the weapon, such as its damage and fire rate, haven’t been leaked yet. Fortunately, players may not have to wait for the weapon for too long, as it could come out with the next update.
