The newest Fortnite Mythic item is fantastic for hiding. Cloak Gauntlets are dropped by Relik at Rumble Ruins and can be used to gain almost complete invisibility. Due to this, this is one of the most valuable items in the video game.
Many Fortnite players used Predator’s Cloaking Device in Chapter 2 – Season 5. The item was similar to Relik’s Cloak Gauntlets, but it was slightly less powerful. New gauntlets are so good that some players have even used them to hide in plain sight.
One Fortnite player recently showed off how this is done.
Fortnite player used the new Mythic item to hide right in front of their enemy
At the moment, Fortnite players can obtain two types of Cloak Gauntlets. There is a regular variant that lasts shorter and has a longer cooldown, while the Mythic version can be obtained by eliminating Relik at Rumble Ruins. The regular variant is decent, but the Mythic item is incredible.
Reddit user Pumpedlol recently posted a video showcasing the power of the Mythic Gauntlets. The Fortnite player used the item to hide from their enemies, and at one point, they even stood in front of the enemy, hiding in plain sight.

As the video shows, the player first activated the Mythic item to hide from the enemy that was chasing them. By the end of the video, Pumpedlol was standing right in front of the enemy, yet was almost completely invisible. Thanks to Cloak Gauntlets, the player was able to not only survive the fight but also to get an easy elimination.
The Mythic item is quite rare as it can only be obtained by taking Relik down. Due to this, only one player can have it in every match, but there is no doubt that going for it is worth it. With a longer duration and shorter cooldown, Mythic Cloak Gauntlets are much better than their regular variant and can be a difference-maker in every fight.
