Fortnite v25.10 patch notes: New Mythic items, super styles, summer event, and more

The v25.10 Fortnite update has brought a lot of new content to the popular video game.

The v25.10 Fortnite update was released on Tuesday at approximately 4 AM Eastern Time. This is the first major update of Chapter 4 – Season 3, which is why it’s no surprise that Epic Games has released a lot of new content with it.

Before the update even came out, Epic announced several changes that will arrive. Many players were excited to hear that the Shockwave Grenade was going to return to the game, but were quite disappointed with V-Bucks changes in Fortnite: Save the World.

Here are all the major highlights of the new Fortnite update.

The latest Fortnite update has brought a lot of new content, including many cosmetics

Epic Games has added many new cosmetic items with the latest Fortnite update. Not only were new skins added to the game data, but the video game developer also added a new style for Beach Bomber, one of the most popular summer skins.

According to leakers, it appears that Epic is preparing a new collaboration with The Witcher. This collaboration will bring several new cosmetic items to the video game, including Ciri.

Battle Pass skins have received super styles with the update as well. These styles are unlockable after reaching level 100 in Chapter 4 – Season 3, and once again, they have unique colors. However, they also have additional features which can be toggled on. Here are all of them:

• Face mask: Mariposa and Lorenzo
• Coat tails and helmet: Relik
• Hood: Trace
• Vest: Rian

Unfortunately, Epic Games hasn’t released any new styles for Optimus Prime. The Transformers skin has two simple styles, and considering that it’s a collaboration item, it’s unlikely that it’ll receive any major changes.

Considering that Reality Augments have been a big part of Chapter 4, it’s no surprise that Epic Games updated them on Tuesday. One perk will drastically benefit players who love using submachine guns, while the other one is perfect for those who frequently visit the new jungle biome.

Here are the two new Reality Augments:

• SMG Extended Mag: SMGs have increased magazine size
• Mud Warrior: You regenerate health and shields while covered in Mud

In addition to this, Epic released a new cloaking device with the latest Fortnite update. The Mythic version of the device is obtained by eliminating Relik, a new boss, while lower-level variants can be found in chests and floor loot. Besides the cloaking device, the boss will also drop the Mythic version of the MK-Alpha Assault Rifle.

Epic Games unvaulted the Shockwave Grenade and the Flare Gun with the update. However, the mobility grenade was only unvaulted in Zero Build modes. Considering that many players have asked Epic to bring the Shockwave Grenade back to regular modes with building, this will likely happen soon.

The in-game island has also been updated with the latest patch. Summer decorations have been put over several places on the island in preparation for the upcoming event.

One of the most exciting things about the update is the summer event. While the release date of it hasn’t been revealed yet, it will likely come out in early July. Fortnite data miners have found some information regarding the event with the latest update, and it turns out that it will be called Summer Escape. The event will have several questlines and cosmetic rewards.

Data miners have also found data regarding the Fortnite x Nike collaboration. It appears that the upcoming collaboration will bring several new cosmetic items that can be obtained for free, as well as a new Creative map. However, Epic Games will likely reveal more information about it very soon.

Finally, the v25.10 Fortnite update has brought new quests. These quests will be released soon, and it seems that the Apparatus, a new landmark in the jungle biome, will play a major role in the Chapter 4 – Season 3 storyline.
