A Fortnite player may have just figured out when Michael Myers is likely to drop. Michael Myers is one of the many character skins Fortnite players have been begging Epic Games to add to the Item Shop. However, although we are a few weeks into the Fortnitemares 2023 event, this skin has yet to make its way to the Item Shop.
Thanks to some investigation from a player, it resulted in finding out when the iconic skin will likely debut. So, if you’re excited about the new Halloween collab making its way to Fortnite, find out more about when players figured out Michael Myers is likely to drop.
Some players figured out when Michael Myers would drop
Fortnite v26.30 has arrived, bringing players the Fortnitemares event 2023, cosmetics, new weapons, and challenges. In a recent Reddit post on the FortNiteBR subreddit, u/ProdbyPyxlwhip figured out Michael Myers is likely to drop after the V-Bucks prices increase has been implemented on October 27, 2023. However, the Michael Myers official release date has not been confirmed by Epic Games. During this update, Fortnite players will have the chance to purchase the iconic slasher Michael Mysers from the Item Shop later during the season.
Michael Myers, along with Jack Skellington, are two new character Outfits you will be able to purchase from the Item Shop once they are released. However, as mentioned in an Epic Games blog post on their official site, these skins will be released later during the Fortnitemares event. As a result, many players have figured out the Michael Myers collab will drop once the new pricing has been implemented.
Due to this revelation, many Fortnite players have been stocking up on V-Bucks before the prices increase on October 27, 2023, as mentioned by u/Accomplished-Disk-68. Although many players don’t seem happy about this, they are still eager to obtain Michael Myers and Jack Skellington when they drop.
On September 27, 2023, Epic Games announced they will be increasing the prices of V-Bucks in the following countries: Czech Republic, Denmark, Eurozone Countries, Hungary, Japan, Norway, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Turkey, and the United States. This is not the first time Epic Games has increased their V-Bucks prices. Previously, pricing alignments have been completed in the United Kingdom, Canada, and Mexico.
