Fortnite Update 3.85 datamined content
Dataminers have claimed that this patch is just for bug fixes for the upcoming Fortnite Creative 2.0 patch.
It should be noted that these claims are indeed speculation, and will only be proved true if Epic Games release patch notes:
Fortnite Update Today v24.01
Epic’s tweet suggests that the upcoming update won’t introduce significant alterations to the game. Instead, the update will mainly focus on preparing for the release of Unreal Editor for Fortnite, as per insiders like Shiina.
Unreal Editor for Fortnite, set to launch on March 22, will enable fans to publish games and experiences directly into Fortnite.
This new PC application provides budding content creators with the tools they need to design, develop, and test new Fortnite islands in real-time, using many of Unreal Engine 5’s powerful features such as custom asset import, modelling, materials and VFX, Sequencer and Control Rig.
This will allow them to produce and publish games and experiences for Fortnite, enjoyed by millions of players.
Epic has yet to reveal any further gameplay tweaks and changes, but they will be announced after downtime is complete.
WePC will keep this article updated with the full patch notes, as soon as they are released by Epic Games.
