Newegg is currently gearing up a fantastic promotional offer that allows you to get Starfield for free when purchasing ant Ryzen 7000 or 7000 X3D CPU from them. Unsurprising due to the fact that AMD and Bethesda have partnered up. This is how you can get Starfield for free with these CPUs on Newegg.

Note that the Starfield bundle is not yet live on Newegg, all we currently have is an unconfirmed placeholder, but here’s what we know so far. Check back later for updates on this Starfield / AMD CPU promotion.

Starfield comes bundled with Ryzen 7000 CPUs on Newegg

A curious new placeholder promotion has been spotted over on Newegg that allows you to pick up Starfield, Bethesda’s first new IP in over 25 years, not that it needs an introduction, for absolutely free.

Well, free when you buy any of the Ryzen 7000 series CPUs listed below. Surprisingly, this promotion also applies to the newer X3D variants of the Ryzen 7000 series CPUs.

Here’s a list of all the CPUs you can get Starfield for free with over on Newegg.

When will this Starfield promotion go live?

Bear in mind, as of right now the promotion is not actually live yet this is just a placeholder for what will be. So please don’t go off right now expecting to get Starfield for free after buying one of these 7000 series CPUs.

We will update this page when the promotion goes live, or when we get a start date from AMD or Newegg themselves. But if you’re seeing this, it’s not yet live.

Starfield is set to release in September, so we can only assume that the promotion will start soon, to give gamers a chance to save up if necessary and get their rig ready for the worlds within Starfield.

AMD and Bethesda Starfield partnership

It makes perfect sense that AMD is promoting Starfield with their hardware as both AMD and Intel recently entered a partnership meaning Starfield will come equipped with the latest and greatest AMD software right from the get-go.

As Tom’s Hardware states, this software includes FidelityFX Super Resolution 2 (FSR 2). Leaving rival companies, like Nvidia, excluded on day one. It remains to be seen how Starfield is going to do in Intel and Nvidia-based systems. It is also possible that AMD will run a similar promotion with AMD GPUs too, we’ll be on the lookout for that.
