HWINFO is the world’s leading system monitoring software, it’s hard to find a PC enthusiast that doesn’t have this monitoring software on their system. Because it caters to the masses, HWINFO must stay current on all the latest components to ensure their compatibility. HWINFO gets support for Raptor Lake refresh CPUs in the new update.

Raptor Lake Refresh spotted in the new HWINFO update

The Intel Raptor Lake Refresh is rapidly approaching its predicted month of release, meaning we’re likely to see leaks and benchmarks in the coming weeks.

The HWINFO team has been working hard to improve its monitoring software to support the latest hardware releases. Their latest update focuses on adding support for Intel’s upcoming 14th Gen Core processors, codenamed Raptor Lake Refresh.

With this update, the software can now recognize different models of these processors, even though specific names haven’t been revealed yet. However, there are rumors circulating about the i9-14900K, i7-14700K, and i5-14600K models, which are expected to be released in October 2023.

HWINFO has also been upgraded to work with the next-generation Xeon CPU series called Granite Rapids and Sierra Forest. These processors are planned to be used in data centers in 2024. The software’s monitoring capabilities for these CPUs have been improved, as mentioned in the changelog.
