Mortal Kombat 1 has arrived, and with it comes a day one patch for Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5. This patch includes a variety of improvements, including bug fixes, accessibility options, character balance changes, new finishing moves, UI improvements, and more.

In addition to general bug fixes, the patch also adds and fleshes out accessibility options, making the game more accessible to players of all abilities. There is also a character polish and tuning pass, which includes balance changes and other improvements.

UI has also been improved and refined, and new options have been added. The game should be easier to navigate now. For the Story mode, there have been improvements to the movie player, visual polish to numerous scenes, and tuning of the story finale and final boss. 4K resolution movies have also been added.

The Invasions mode has also been revised and polished, with general UI improvements and bug fixes. Also, boss fights have been rebalanced, and mesa progression has been adjusted. Season 1 content has been added, and challenge towers have been added to the Gateway Mesa.
