Compared to the older version of the MSI Stealth (the GS67) the new GS77 comes with a larger touchpad, fingerprint scanner, 1080p webcam, and a more durable hinge for the screen. Some of the ports on the new chassis are moved to the back to assist in cable management, there is now PCIe Gen 4.0 for SSD storage, and DDR5 RAM support. The GS77 also comes with MSI’s new phase-change liquid metal pad which is solid at room temperature, turning liquid at 58°C, making it safer to transport and upgrade/maintain than conventional liquid cooling would be and helping to reduce thermal throttling on the higher-end CPUs, thereby improving performance in-game and in other demanding scenarios.
