JGOD did not hold back in his criticism of pre-ordering Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. He gives multiple reasons why no one should preorder the newest CoD from Activision, and why players should start being more discerning about when they preorder products.

We’ve never seen JGOD go against Activision like this, but his points are incredibly valid. To get you started on why, JGOD puts it easy to understand at first, “you’re really not missing out.”

JGOD says not to preorder MW3 yet

JGOD went on a seven-minute tangent explaining why no one should have preordered MW3 yet and why it isn’t in anyone’s best interest if they do. JGOD starts his video by saying the advertisement for MW3 in the startup is “nonsense” that’s “smacked in your face.”

It’s hard to pull quotes because there are so many golden reasons that JGOD gives, like “If you go out of your way to buy either of these, you’re basically telling them you don’t care what the product is.”

JGOD is serious about staying away from preordering because Activision may get used to just putting a title on a game and expecting preorders without giving a promise of anything to come.

As far as we have seen, there’s part of a campaign mission in MW3, but other than that there hasn’t been much given to players. For a game that’s coming out so soon, there should be a lot to see and know already. JGOD made what we know now clear “that’s not enough,” we need more to go off of before we know that the game isn’t a glorified DLC.

To sum up the entire rant, “They really haven’t given you any value or any reason to buy the game yet… Nearly all of you, you really haven’t seen any gameplay that represents those changes.” and his reasoning is that Activision or Sledgehammer Games will think that maybe they don’t have to make updates and changes that the community asks for if they keep getting money regardless.
