Alas, the South Korean tech giant has yet to specify the official price of its newest monitor, and honest folks such as ourselves are left to speculate about how much they’ll need to shell out for this vibrant piece of hardware.
How much will the Samsung ViewFinity S9 cost?

For instance, Apple’s Studio Display starts at $1,599, while LG’s UltraFine 5K is available for $1299 on LG’s website. Given that Samsung is positioning the ViewFinity S9 as a competitor to these high-end monitors, it’s safe to say that it will boast a considerable price tag.
Though experts predict the price to be somewhere in-between Apple’s and LG’s displays we mentioned, it remains to be seen as Samsung holds all the cards.
Now, Samsung probably won’t price their product higher than Apple, so the most optimal bet is around the $1300 – $1500 range.

That being said, Samsung is also known for offering more affordable options in its product lineup. So it’s possible that the ViewFinity S9 will come in at a lower price point than its competitors.

From what we know so far, the monitor boasts a 5K resolution, covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and comes with a 4K SlimFit camera and a nice array of connectivity options, including one Thunderbolt 4 port, three USB-C ports, and DisplayPort.
It can also charge laptops at up to 96 watts, making it a convenient option if you’re keen on powering up your devices on the go. If Samsung delivers on these promises while keeping the ViewFinity S9 at a reasonable price, it may just become the new must-have monitor for prosumers everywhere.
