The Ryzen 7 5800X price was even lower last year with the release of the 7000 series Ryzen CPUs making the price even better, but it seemed that even last year, the prices were still lower after black Friday. As we will now demonstrate.
We expect the Ryzen 7 5800X to drop in price after Black Friday.
Using a price comparison tool like Camelcamelcamel, we can see that last year, the Ryzen 7 5800X dropped in price during mid-late December.

We have noticed that the Ryzen 7 5800X dropped in December 2022 to far lower than it was in November, during Black Friday. This could paint a bigger picture of how AMD chooses to price its CPUs because we saw a similar trend with the Ryzen 7 5800X3D.
We know that a sample size of one is not very much, but you can often see price trends repeat themselves during major sales periods, especially after the price has flatlined. This is the case here as the Ryzen 7 5800X is fairly old now, but still very capable.
