The legendary Titan Quest, the popular Action RPG about battling through Ancient Greece, is officially getting a sequel. The announcement trailer for Titan Quest II was shown at the THQ Nordic Showcase taking place on August 11, 2023, for Titan Quest fans around the globe.

Players will return to the mythic world of Ancient Greece as they journey across the land and use powerful builds to create the ultimate Greek hero to take on a deity themself, Nemesis, the Goddess of Retribution.

Titan Quest is getting an official sequel

The new Titan Quest II will follow in the footsteps of its predecessor, the original Titan Quest, which was released all the way back in 2006. Fans of the series haven’t gotten any word about a sequel for years, but now they can finally rejoice as the official sequel is coming, with plenty of beautiful scenery and vast storytelling.

The official trailer showed off a temple with deities toying with the Threads of Fate. It turns to the rich world of ancient Greece before a city is destroyed by the fiery magic of a malevolent god reigning down on both soldiers and civilians. This god is most likely Nemesis, who has begun corrupting the Threads of Fate, much to the deities’ surprise. One soldier remains alive, to face Nemesis.

Titan Quest II will allow players the freedom to build powerful characters to become a hero of Ancient Greece and take down mythological beasts and journey across a land straight out of the history books. You’ll face off with the Goddess of Retribution herself, Nemesis, as you save Greece from being destroyed. You’ll find incredible loot and explore a rich world both solo and in multiplayer. The game will be coming to PC, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5.
