You need to sign up to ChatGPT in order to use the service and you will be happy to know the whole process is relatively straight forward, just like any other sign up you have completed before. In this article, we will show you the how and take you through the steps; screenshots will be provided for every step, making the signup process a doddle.
There are two ways to sign up for ChatGPT: The first is redirecting through Google or Microsoft account and the other is via email. Here we will discuss both of them.

Step
Sign up Through Email
Following are the steps first-way ‘Signup through email’ how to Sign up to ChatGPT:
Open any browser of your choice and enter https://chat.openai.com/auth/login.
A welcome interface of ChatGPT shall appear, displaying two options ‘Log in’ and ‘Sign up.’
Click on Signup, which will take you to the screen shown in the screenshot below.

A text box is given to enter the Email address. Upon entering the email address and clicking continue. The new text box shall appear when you are asked to enter an eight-digit password.
In the next step, you will be asked to open Gmail to verify the Gmail address.
Upon opening Gmail, an email will be sent. Click on the link from there.
Note that this step might take longer than the others because the OpenAI needs to authenticate your browser.

Upon clicking the “Verify Email Address” button, an interface will open, prompting you to enter your first and last name, as well as your date of birth.
After filling in the required info and clicking on the continue button, it will take you to the next, where you will be asked to verify your phone number.

OpenAI also gives a secondary option to verify phone numbers via WhatsApp.
After verifying the phone number, you will be redirected to a new ChatGPT interface. From there, you can use and enjoy the ChatGPT services. 
There you are! You are now signed up to ChatGPT and you can start entering the best prompts for whatever task you are trying to complete!
