The RX 570 is a GPU that’s getting on a bit in terms of age, it’s nowhere near as good as some of the baseline modern GPUs, but if you’re on a strict budget it can do wonders in 1080p and lower. As we know, the CPU feeds the GPU with information, so pairing the 570 with a good CPU is paramount, giving it room to breathe.
Without further delay, let’s get into the Best CPU for RX 570.
Best CPU for Radeon RX 570
The best CPU for the RX 570 is the Ryzen 5 5600X.

The reason we recommend this CPU is for future-proofing reasons. We realize this CPU causes a significant GPU bottleneck at 1080p, but it not only means the RX 570 is allowed to perform at its maximum potential. It also means we can upgrade the GPU in the future if we so wish, and still be covered.
The Ryzen 5 5600X is cheap enough, especially if you find one on sale.
The Ryzen 5 5600X is one of the best Price-to-performance CPUs available – well suited to the RX 570. Its respectable 6-Core and 12-Thread configuration means it’s able to power through light multi-threaded loads. As well as some moderately intense gaming.
The 4.6GHz core speed ensures that the 5600X can handle gaming, as we know by now, CPU core speed is directly tied to gaming performance. The 5600X makes a great pairing with the RX 570, as it allows the GPU to fully spread its wings.
The 5600X is truly an efficient beast, the 5600X’s low power consumption makes it a viable choice for those with a lesser PSU. The TDP stands at 65W, almost 200W less than the Raptor Lake Intel flagship.
The 5600X stands on the AM4 socket standard, the most widely-used motherboard type in the industry. So there are plenty of options out there for motherboards. In all likelihood, you probably have the motherboard required right now.
Best budget CPU for RX 570
There is no real choice other than the 5600X, it’s the lowest you can go without being utterly pointless. The 5600X allows the RX 570 to operate at full capacity, all the while being plenty future-proof to allow for GPU upgrades.
There are some other ones you can go for in lesser PCU generations, but we wouldn’t specifically recommend them as they’re a lot worse on single-core performance than the 5000 series CPUs.
Final Word
The 5600X is the ideal GPU for the RX 570 this is because it allows the GPU to perform at full capacity, whilst leaving plenty of headroom for upgrading. It’s also new enough to be relevant for a few more years yet. All the while being pretty budget-friendly.
