We’re always on the lookout for great deals online, and now with the Amazon Big Spring Sale kicking off, it has only accelerated price cuts. Today we’re going to feature one of the most popular OLED TVs in recent years – the LG C2, a TV we reviewed. The largest 83-inch model just got an unprecedented price drop which is great news if you’re in need of a display for a large family room or home cinema.
The popular C2 has now dropped to $2,999.00 – a great price tag and just under $500 cheaper than the next-gen C3 at the moment. There isn’t a whole lot of difference between them as you’ll find from our LG C2 vs C3 comparison. This 20% discount on the C2 makes for a saving of $747.99.

Looking at the specs above, you can see that the C2 is a beast of a display. OLED technology has become a fan-favorite thanks to its realistic colors, infinite contrast thanks to true blacks, and excellent motion control with a rapid response time (which is ideal for gaming especially). This uses one of LG’s OLED evo panels, which boosts peak brightness over the previous generation.
We’re talking about the 83″ model in particular here, but it also ranges between 42″ and 77″ if you’re interested. Crisp 4K resolution and max 120Hz refresh rate makes it ideal for current-gen consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series X, which offer a maximum of 4K 120FPs performance over the HDMI 2.1 standard that the C2 has, with full 48 Gbps bandwidth on all four ports.
Is this LG C2 OLED TV deal good value?
To gauge how good this deal actually is, we decided to do some research. That means checking out Amazon price history sites such as CamelCamelCamel, which is where the graph below is sourced from.
We can see that the 83-inch LG C2 OLED has been up and down from the end of 2022 and for most of 2023, with less action in 2024 so far. However, we can now see the price plummet down to $2,999.00 thanks to this current deal. Now with the release of the LG C4 that’s available to buy, it would appear that Amazon is clearing stock of the older 2022 model, something we’ve seen on other retailers such as Best Buy.
