When looking at the RX 7900 XTX specs, you get the base-level specifications for what the card offers, but custom models upgrade the design and tend to overclock the GPU for a boost in performance.

With that, you get a strong graphics card with this deal. The top-spec card offers up 4K gaming with ease from the RDNA 3 architecture it features and over 6,000 stream processors running it. Along with the 96 compute units and 96 ray tracing cores, you do get plenty of power for better lighting capabilities although not as well as Nvidia GPUs.

Is the AMD flagship GPU deal good value?

Quite simply, yes the Amazon deal on the RX 7900 XTX is a great value. AMD is well known for its better pricing choice compared to Nvidia and this pushes that even further. As camelcamelcamel pricing history shows, although not updated to the new price, it’s the lowest ever yet.

Previously the card reached a lowest ever of just $999, the MSRP of the card but dropped to that during Black Friday and the holiday season. But the Big Spring Sale drops that even further to under $700, and so its the best time to snap it up before the price is increased as this price seems more in error than anything.
