Are you wondering if Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is Steam Deck compatible? The latest game from Elden Ring and Dark Souls developer FromSoftware will be released at the end of August and many are hoping to play the game on their portable consoles.

Valve’s handheld system has had many games on it since it was released including Elden Ring which played perfectly at launch. The PC Specs of Armored Core 6 are pretty demanding but that doesn’t mean the game couldn’t come to the Steam Deck and appease the PC audience.

Can you play Armored Core 6 on Steam Deck?

Yes! Armored Core 6 will be playable on the Steam Deck. As usual, there is an indicator as to whether or not Valve’s steam deck will be able to play a game. The Steam app lists Armored Core 6 as a playable game. This means:

• All functionality is available when using the default controller configuration
• This game shows Steam Deck controller icons
• This game’s default graphics settings performs well on Steam Deck
• Some in-game text is small and may be difficult to read

As you can see, the game should run just fine as long as you have the storage left to hold it. The only issue is the in-game text which may only be an issue for some. There are plenty of reasons to get the game on PC with this being one of them. The game should also be able to reach 60 FPS.

It isn’t a surprise to see that the game performs well on Steam Deck. After all, Elden Ring plays very well con the handheld platform as well as the Dark Souls Games including Dark Souls Remastered. Of course, it always helps to check as some games don’t perform well even with lower settings.
