This is a class with a light weapon. A special move called Invocation of Ice that is activated by pressing L2 on PlayStation or LT on Xbox lets you infuse your weapon with Frost for a few seconds.

You get the Glass-core batons weapon that deals with 45 Damage and Alchemical Resistance Vial.

This Steelrising class is focused on elemental damage like fire, frost, and electrocution. Using these alchemical weapons works best with an Alchemist class.

In addition, you gain +3 points in the Elemental Alchemy skill and +2 points in Engineering. Elemental Alchemy increases alchemical and elemental damage and resistance. Engineering increases your armor, and the effectiveness of alchemical effects and boosts your loot-finding chance.

Bodyguard

Bodyguard wields a heavy weapon and its special ability is Block. It simply allows you to block attacks by holding L2 on PlayStation or LT on Xbox.

Your weapon is a Body of Work with 74 damage. An item for this class is the Petrification Grenade. It allows you to temporarily immobilize the enemy.

You will rely on your strength so your attacks are slower but more powerful. You also have the most durability than other classes.

This class gets +3 points in the Durability skill that increases your health and balance, and +2 points in Engineering. Engineering increases your armor, and the effectiveness of alchemical effects and boosts your loot-finding chance.

Dancer

Steelrising’s Dancer class has a light weapon but can also use the Block ability by holding L2 on PlayStation or LT on Xbox.

This class wields Armoured Fans with 52 damage and also has a Flame Grenade that’s used to ignite enemies.

Dancers are highly durable and mobile. Your playstyle relies on chaining attacks, but you also have that Fans that can turn into a Shield for some defense. After a series of successful attacks, you have a chance of immobilizing enemies and hitting a critical hit.

This class gains +3 points in Agility which increases your Immobilization Damage and Physical Damage. In addition, you’ll get +2 points into Vigour which increases your overall Endurance and Critical Hit Damage.

The Soldier is a class with the heaviest of weapons, the Gribeauval Halberd with 64 damage. However, its special move is a Ranged Attack by pressing L2 on PlayStation and LT on Xbox.

In addition, you’ll get the Explosive Grenade which throws a projectile that can knock over an enemy.

As the Soldier, you’ll rely on heavy and powerful physical attacks. This class receives +3 points in Power and +2 points in Vigour. Power increases your overall Physical Damage and Impact. Vigour increases your overall Endurance and Critical Hit Damage.

What’s the Best Class in Steelrising?

It all depends on your preferred playstyle. If you like fast-paced combat with some defensive ability then Dancer may be the best Steelrising class for you. It allows you to stay mobile but gives you that Block ability for defensive purposes. A good mix of light physical damage with some Flame Grenades to back that up with elemental damage.

The other lightweight class is the Alchemist. You’ll use batons and a ton of elemental damage to get rid of your foes. It’s a great class for everyone that wants a more tactical playstyle and utilize alchemy to their advantage.

Bodyguard is the tank class that has shielding ability and the most durability out of all characters. A great class if you’d like to power through the game.

And last, but not least is the Soldier. It is a little bit of a hybrid class with strong melee attacks, but its ability allows you to keep your distance. It’s a very versatile playstyle so if you’d like an all-around class, this will be the best class in Steelrising for you.
