Fans of Supercell games like Clash of Clans and Clash Royale will likely be familiar with Brawl Stars, the company’s mobile MOBA-slash-shooter. However, you might not be aware of Beatstar, a mobile rhythm game developed by Space Ape.

Space Ape are a Supercell partner developer, and so it’s not surprising that Beatstar is linked with Supercell ID, and even includes Supercell game themes in its song catalogue. And that catalogue has just been made even bigger with the addition of another three Supercell theme songs.

Brawl Stars’ Bad Randoms songs come to Beatstar for free

Fans of Brawl Stars should recognise the sounds of the Bad Randoms. The game’s fictional rock band was introduced to Brawl Stars with their own skin line in 2021. Since then, with their own music videos and single releases under their belt, the band have garnered quite the fan base – and you can even listen to their music on Spotify and Apple Music.

Now, three of the band’s songs have been made available to Beatstar players thanks to the game’s links with Supercell. Mortis Game and Healing Lies are both hard tracks, while Together is Normal difficulty, making it slightly easier for newcomers. To get the three free tracks, simply follow this link on the device on which you play Beatstar, and you’ll be able to redeem all three songs in-game. This giveaway went live on March 14, 2022, and the link will be available for a few days, but will eventually expire, so claim while you can!

What is Beatstar?

Beatstar is a mobile rhythm game along the lines of Guitar Hero and Beat Saber. This time, though, the beat is quite literally in your hands as you use your thumbs to tap and swipe on your device’s screen in time with a huge collection of licensed tracks.

With unlockable “record boxes” coming in the forms of Pop, Rock, Electronic and more, a wide range of genres is covered. Artists like Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande, Paramore and Papa Roach, and Post Malone and Desiigner are all included in the game. Others come and go during each season, for which a Tour Pass can be purchased in-game for real money. Beatstar can be played entirely free, though, especially with giveaways like this one taking place regularly.

How to play Beatstar

Beatstar is available on iOS and Android devices, and can be purchased from the App Store and Google Play. It is a free download, so you can download and give it a try if you’re interested.

Once you’re on, it’s pretty straightforward gameplay. But we’d recommend making full use of the Sync Audio setting. Press the Menu button in the top right corner, click “Sync Audio” and follow the instructions to sync. You’ll definitely want to change this if you play the game using Bluetooth headphones, but we found it improved gameplay anyway.
