Infinity Ward seems to have confirmed that there will be a Call of Duty announcement today, February 11th, 2022. The news could reveal details about Warzone 2 as an embargo is to be lifted, according to content creator and leaker Tom Henderson.

COD Warzone 2 embargo to be lifted on February 11th, 2022

In a series of tweets on Henderson’s Twitter profile in the week leading up to February 11th, 2022, he has revealed that there is a Call of Duty embargo in place, put in place to stop content creators revealing details about a big Call of Duty reveal. Apparently, new Warzone 2 and/or Modern Warfare 2 gameplay access was given to hundreds of creators in February 2022, pertaining to “a new generation of Call of Duty”, as teased in a Tweet from Infinity Ward themselves.

Tom Henderson isn’t alone, either. Tons of other COD leakers have been revealing potential information about Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2, as well as their potential integration, over the last few days. This is what makes the latest Infinity Ward tweet so interesting. With the whole of Twitter seemingly leaking details about Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2, Infinity Ward posted a simple-yet-suggestive GIF that seems to give the game away officially.

Until anything official does happen, though, this is all just conjecture. Infinity Ward’s social media manager could just really like Antonio Banderas. However, we know from LOTS of past experience that Twitter leaks, particularly from the likes of Henderson and @ModernWarzone, usually come to fruition. So we’ll be here, waiting with bated breath for some form of COD reveal later today.
