The season 3 Reloaded update for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is almost here. With the season well underway we are expecting the usual mid-season update to come soon. After such a large update size for the start of the season we hope this mid-season update will be shorter but just as action-packed!
How long will the mid-season Update for Call of Duty MW2 take?
This update will be action-packed enough to fill out the last month of the season. We expect this update to take at least two to eight hours depending on your own internet speed to complete. This range is a bit high, but that’s only because some people have slower internet speeds than others.
If your internet speed is fast, then it should only take up to two hours. We recommend turning off other devices that use the WiFi while this update installs.
While reloaded updates aren’t as substantial as the full season update, Activion normally expects Reloaded updates to bring those players that have left back. The update is scheduled for May 10, 12pm CT.
What is included in the reloaded update?
The May 10 update will be bringing new maps, new game modes, and a few new weapon options with it so it’s no surprise it will take a significant amount of time to complete. The update is including things like the new 6v6 map, Alboran Hatchery, new camo challenges, two full-auto sidearms, and Raid Episode Three. It may be enough to reignite that fighting fire within players which is why it will take a little longer to update when it lands.
All in all, we expect this update to be filled with new exciting things to keep us coming back over and over until season four, it will be worth the update wait time to extend your gameplay and experience new Call of Duty heights.
