With the newest season of MW2 looming, we have complied a list of all the best classes you can put together in your kit. Staying at the top of your game this season will require you to use a few classes, each with their own subset of attachments, equipment and guns to shoot you straight to the top.
These classes will cover a wide range of player play styles so there is sure to be something for everyone.
Best Sniper Rifle class / loadout in MW2
Arguably, the best Sniper Rifle for playing in Season 3 of MW2 is a fully loaded out SP-X 80. Snipers are obviously more limited than any automatic weapons are will limit you in close-quarters combat scenarios but for their single-shot kill capacity, they are unmatched. It offers an excellent mix between mobility and power, giving you the best opportunity for one-shot kill in most scenarios.
These are our favourite attachment loadouts for the SP-X 80:

Best Basic Assault Rifle class / loadout in MW2
Our top Assault Rifle which will companion you in decimating the competition is one of the best ARs for mid-range engagement zones, the TAQ-56 and it’s optimised loadout. Now we can hear you, you’re asking “what about the Kastov 762?” and that is a fair question, for strength, the Kastov has the TAQ beat down, but we are looking for something that you can use to adapt, optimise and fill that whole in your arsenal with the best all-rounder.
That is the TAQ-56, especially if you kit it up with this loadout:

- Under Barrel: Demo IMP -44 Grip
- Muzzle: Cronen OP44
- Stock: TV Cardinal Stock
- Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity
Best Sub Machine Gun / loadout in MW2
The final weapon to join our merry band of best bullet launchers is the undeniable presence of the Vaznek -9k. This SMG excels in short-range spaces and close quarters and adds a much-needed fast firepower to your collection. We have given four optional attatchments for the SMG just to keep it as mobile as possible however if you are struggling with the kickback and recoil we suggest adding a barrel attachment to this.
