Dave the Diver is filled with various types of fish for you to discover as you explore Blue Hole. The fish you catch out in the wild are ingredients to use for the dishes on the menu at the Bancho Sushi Restaurant.

One of the many creatures you will find in the Blue Hole are eels. These slippery creatures are needed if you want to make specific dishes like Moray Eel Curry. Of course, catching them isn’t very easy. You must go to the right depth and prepare your harpoon.

Get your net ready, you will need it. It doesn’t hurt to have a weapon upgrade or two as well. This guide will show you how to catch eel in Dave the Diver.

How to catch Moray Eels in Dave the Diver

Moray Eels only come out at night. This means that you need to unlock night diving before you can catch them. To do this, you need to unlock Otto and the Fish Farm. To unlock Otto, you will need to complete Duff’s Pink Delivery quest chain and defeat the Giant Squid.

Once Otto appears and you have unlocked the Fish Farm, you will unlock night diving. With night diving unlocked, you will be able to enter the Blue Hole at dark to search for new types of fish. One such type of fish is Moray Eels.

Moray Eels only come out at night and they stick close to the surface. Be careful, eels deal a lot of damage. Make sure you have an upgraded weapon and do your best to avoid getting hit. Keep striking an eel with your weapon to hurt it before you can use a net or harpoon to catch it.

Moray Eels are used to make a curry dish but there are plenty of other kinds of sea creatures for you to discover. Be sure to hire some employees to keep the restaurant going while you are gone.
