There are plenty of fish in the seas and bosses, too, including the Mantis Shrimp in Dave the Diver! Some fish are easy to catch, and others will increase your chances of rapidly losing oxygen in the depth of the sea.

This underwater adventure will have plenty of boss fights, quests, and items to find during your encounters. So, follow this guide on how to catch Mantis Shrimp in Dave the Diver.

How to beat the Mantis Shrimp Boss in Dave the Diver

To get Mantis Shrimp Tail and Meat, you must defeat the Mantis Shrimp boss in the Blue Hole Shallows part of the map. To beat the Mantis Shrimp, you must aim for its eyes in Dave the Diver. At the start of the fight, the massive prawn will unleash massive attacks that may leave you gasping for air. After which its guard will be down; you must take this time to shoot at its eyes.

There will be two times within the battle in which the Mantis Shrimp will charge its attacks. The first time, the charge will be short, and it will pull its arm up to unleash an attack toward the ground. After this attack, you will have a chance to attack its eyes.

The second charge will be much longer and will take place after it has sent massive waves of current toward you. During this time, a grabbable part of the chain will be at the top of the reef. Pull this chain while the Mantis Shrimp is charging its super punch. If you pull it down low enough, the Shrimp will hit the punching bag with pounds of force and weaken itself. 

However, if you get swept up in the current before the second charge, you will be thrust into a reef with sharp spikes. This attack will leave you with a lot of damage that could take up half of your oxygen. 

Once you get the rhythm of this fight down, you will find a small unguarded portion near its torso area to the far upper reef behind the attack. Once you beat the massive prawn, you will be rewarded with Mantis Shrimp Tail, Mantis Shrimp Meat, and an Ammo box.
