When is the Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost start time? When you can expect the festivities to begin? Bungie is good at keeping up with seasonal events in Destiny 2 and October is the time for the Festival of the Lost to begin. It is a time of haunted fun and candy.

This year, Eva Levante runs the event and you must see her to start up the Festival of the Lost Quest. The quest involves battles in the Haunted Sectors so be prepared with a great Warlock build and make sure you have the best Exotics available.

Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost – Halloween event start time

The Festival of the Lost event in Destiny 2 begins on October 17, 2023 at 10am PDT / 1pm EDT / 6pm BST / 7pm CEST. This date is confirmed on the official Bungie website as well as by posts on the official Destiny 2 X page.

Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost – Candy, Spectral Pages, and Manifested Pages

During the Festival of the Lost, you will need to collect Candy. This currency can be used to purchase Masks. To obtain Candy, you need to defeat enemies and complete activities during the festival while wearing a mask.

The Book of the Forgotten has also returned containing lore that can be purchased with Manifested Pages. These pages are created using Spectral Pages. Spectral Pages are earned in Haunted Lost Sectors and created by defeating Headless Ones. Manifested Pages can also be obtained from chests in the Haunted Lost Sectors.

Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost – Eerie Engrams

Eerie Engrams are a big part of the Festival of the Lost and are used for Hocus Focusing. You can obtain Eerie Engrams by competing in the Haunted Sector Playlist. Each Haunted Sector has a chance to drop an Eerie Engram. Legend Haunted Sectors have a higher chance to drop an Eerie Engram.

Eva Levante at the Tower will be your go-to merchant for using Eerie Engrams. Combining these Engrams with Candy will allow you to get Exotic items like Exotic Armor, random Festival of the Lost weapons, and specific Festival of the Lost weapons.
