Disney Dreamlight Valley is an excellent game for cozy players who just wanna snuggle up and play a farming sim with their favorite characters. The game includes many different Disney movie themes and characters, including Disney’s The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Pixar’s Toy Story, and many more Disney and Pixar characters. 

The game is currently available in early access from Gameloft and is set to release later on as free-to-play with paid cosmetics. The game has many other upcoming updates as well as part of early access, including multiplayer coming later this year.

With this game, players will definitely wanna play all the time and bring their favorite characters like Goofy, Woody, Wall-E, Stitch, Kristoff, Ariel,  Mickey, Moana, Lilo, Merlin, Buzz Lightyear, and more along with them anywhere and everywhere with many more new characters on the way. It allows players to build friendships with their favorite characters once progressing after The Forgetting. The game is available on Xbox Series X through both purchases of Xbox Game Pass, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC. The Steam Deck is a wonderful handheld console that does have support for Disney Dreamlight Valley, meaning if it is purchased through Steam, it can be downloaded and played on the Steam Deck. This early access game is easily downloadable onto the Steam Deck. Besides the Nintendo Switch, the only way to play this game on a handheld console is by Steam Deck or Asus Rog Ally.

These handhelds are great ways for players to enjoy this cozy game anywhere. Players will be able to complete their memorable characters’ missions through different biomes very easily with the handheld device controls.

The only downfall to playing a game like this on either pc device is the battery life and storage size. The Steam Deck does accept an SD card which expands the storage on the console just like a Nintendo Switch, or if one feels comfortable, they can open up the console and add an SSD into the internal storage. This will help allow for more inventory space on the device.

The game stability is very good for the Steam Deck since the game is officially Steam Deck verified which grants better performance and fps. The developers always provide bug fixes for any found when their community lets them know.

Disney Dreamlight Valley allows players to have many different kind of experiences between collecting critters, visiting different worlds such as Pixar’s Toy Story realm, customing items in the furniture edit mode, and being able to collect new resources to make things like fruitcakes and other unique items.

Players can also treat themselves by taking pictures with their friends in selfie mode. The game also offers a new Star Path with each update, which brings a new collection menu of items to get as rewards. The considerable focus is to make sure all characters are returned to the valley with their memories.

The game has good game performance on the Steam Deck and makes it easy for players to take the game on the go with them to do things like crop watering, collect a wider range of items to use during cooking, and much, much more. The game will be multiplayer sometime later this year for extra fun.
