Will FUT be returning in EA Sports FC 24?

Yes, EA Sports FC is bringing back FUT, which is arguably the most popular game mode they have. A lot of the classic FIFA game modes are beloved, but none quite like FUT, so EA Sports is likely to keep this one around in perpetuity. And for the first time in the franchise’s long history, women’s cards will be available in the mode now that they have secured licensing. MUT hero cards and icons are also new this season.

What game modes are in EA Sports FC 24?

Ultimate Team

Ultimate Team, also known as FUT, is always one of the most popular modes that FIFA and FC have offered. Players usually love collecting cards from their favorite clubs or countries and building a dominant lineup. Fortunately, EA Sports FC Ultimate Team will remain a part of FC 24. Set up a dominant lineup with club legends and increase their chemistry in Ultimate Team mode!

Career Mode

Career Mode is another popular mode for FC players. With it, they can control a club or a player and guide them throughout each season. This can be an existing player or a created player, but either way, a full and long career can be taken over. Player career is locked to your star, but manager career allows you to control a whole club, tactics and all. You can join the Premier League, Ligue 1, Spain’s La Liga, Frauen-Bundesliga, and more.

Clubs

Similarly, Clubs is also a mode with a created player. It was previously called Pro Clubs and it allows gamers to make a custom avatar and collect XP and more to level it up. They can use it on the pitch alongside 10 other players in an 11 vs 11 match where all 22 players are controlled by one person each.

Volta

Volta is the same mode, except that it isn’t a traditional soccer match. Instead, it allows players to try out futsal and street soccer. Once again, the avatar can be leveled up and will be played alongside other gamers in the same Starting XI.

Kick Off

Kick Off is essentially the exhibition mode. In it, players can start a quick match against the CPU or against friends. All teams are available in this mode.

Tournaments

Tournaments mode is where players can engage in all the existing soccer tournaments from around the world or create their own. They can play the UEFA Women’s Champions League, the Premier League, the FA Cup, the MLS, the Women’s International Cup, the UEFA Champions League, and the World Cup.

Online Seasons

Online Seasons is much like Career Mode with clubs, except that the other clubs are not all controlled by CPUs. Instead, they’re also helmed by real-life players and everyone competes to win leagues, get promoted, and more.

Co-op Seasons

Co-op Seasons is played with two players who run portions of the team they are controlling. In this game mode, the duo of gamers tries to get their team promoted all the way up. They will begin in a lower league and try to work their way up.

Online Friendlies

Online Friendlies is what it sounds like. In this game mode, players can play against any player worldwide. With next-gen consoles, that can even include cross-play. Regardless, players can pick their clubs and face off with anyone online. For next-gen consoles, crossplay is possible.

Training Centre

Training Centre is where all the training modes can be found. With this, players can hone their skills in specific scenarios. For example, there is a training mode for taking penalty kicks, defending in one-on-one scenarios, passing through the defense, and much more. This is an excellent way to improve.

Practice Arena

The Practice Arena is where players will take those skills and put them to the test in real situations. They can play against CPUs or other players if they so choose.

All game modes are expected to be available on all platforms including PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch in September.

You can pre-order the Ultimate Edition to get early access and try out new squads, play in Serie A, La Liga, the Barclays Women’s Super League, Liga F, and so many more for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Pre-ordering the Standard Edition does not grant early access.
