Elden Ring’s free PvP Colosseum DLC is real, FromSoftware confirms

Elden Ring has been out for almost a year, with fans still engrossed in the expansive story, and they have the nerve to bring us DLC content, for FREE. Elden Ring’s Colosseum DLC is real, FromSoftware has confirmed the long-rumoured DLC is real, and it’s available now from December 7th.
Who are the Elden Ring Demigods?

In this new DLC, almost a year after the original release date of the game, the Colosseum Update adds – unsurprisingly to beady eyed fans – a new PvP modes that lets players can face off in the grand arenas scattered around The Lands Between. These Colosseums have existed within the game since its launch but have been inaccessible in normal gameplay.
Revealed in a new trailer, the Colosseum Update is shown to allow players to fight each other in these new player on player game modes. Whilst the trailer goes not into specifics, it clearly depicts 1v1 battles alongside what appears to 2v2s and 3v3 fights. The trailer’s description also has additional mention free-for-alls.

When is the Elden Ring DLC available?
The Colosseum DLC is now available, having released on the 7th of December. It’s totally free and, as expected, lots of fun. The Colosseums of Limgrave, Leyndell, and Caelid have opened their gates, indulging players can now engage in battles such as duels, free-for-alls, and team fights. And we couldn’t be more excited that a rumour was right.
