Exoprimal is a new game that we like to describe as an Overwatch-type game with dinosaurs. This is a new anticipated online team-based action game that allows the players to be involved with exosuit technology to go up against dangerous dinosaurs. It is basically a shooter game with dino survival elements.

The game had a closed beta just a couple of months ago, but now everyone who has been excitedly awaiting this game can check out the open beta. Make sure to watch the trailer for the game to see if you’re interested.

The last beta test was held in March in 2024, and this mainly focused on testing the cross-matching. For players that are returning or new, there will now be a story opening, story-related missions, and a 10-player co-op mode now added since the last beta test took place. Check out our guide on when the game releases and where to pre-order. Our sister site also has some hands-on early-access gameplay available to watch.

How to sign up for the second open beta test for Exoprimal

Now, let’s get into how to sign up for the new open beta for Exoprimal’s second open beta. The good news is that anyone can play this without purchasing anything. The open beta is also available across all consoles except Nintendo Switch. So it can be played on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation, and PC.

Players who wish to play the open beta will want to begin by downloading it to their desired platform, which can be done on its official website. Once the download has finished, players will be able to design their character and then jump into a quick and easy tutorial. Make sure you have a Capcom account.

Another note is to remember while on the Exoprimal website, players can take a short and quick survey that will grant them a skin that can be used in the final version of the game. Filling out the survey is a very easy task, and players will be rewarded bonuses, including an exosuit skin, after completing it. The survey will simply ask for some feedback on the game after having played the beta.

Players won’t need to worry about making many adjustments to their setup since the game seems to run fairly smoothly even while in beta.  Just be sure to hit the linking button to link that platform account to Capcom so players will have their saved data on the full version of the game. That’s everything to know about signing up for the Exoprimal open beta test.

Stay tuned for the Exoprimal launch on July 14th. The closed beta will end this upcoming Sunday and then another will begin next Thursday.
