With the launch of Capcom’s dino survival shooter, Exoprimal, here, fans can finally dive headfirst into the game that is full of raptors, triceratops, and more to battle.
There are plenty of exosuits to choose from while you grind for trophies and achievements, but what else can fans expect from the game?
We’ve got all the information for the Exoprimal roadmap after the game’s launch right here for you to know what the future of the game will look like.
Roadmap for Exoprimal
The post-launch roadmap for Exoprimal will feature seasonal content updates, with these planned for the future:
- Season 1
- Season 2
- Season 3
Each of the upcoming seasonal updates will have its own events and with major new features, and Capcom has given players a sneak peek taste at what to expect in the future for both PvP head-to-head gameplay and player-versus-environment matches.
Exoprimal Season 1 Roadmap
Season 1 will begin with a new game mode to the roster, Savage Gauntlet, which will be available on July 28 for play, along with updates to the main mode, Dino Survival mode. Savage Gauntlet is a PvE new mode where squads will play random late-game challenging missions that will rotate weekly. Soon after, on August 16, players will get the first major title update, Title Update 1, which includes 10 new Alpha variant exosuits being made available.
Exoprimal Season 2 Roadmap
Season 2 will kick off with the next Title Update 2 in mid-October, including the new map Ocean Platform, which includes new rigs, modules, and a new final mission to complete. It will also feature the first of many Capcom collaborations, starting in Season 2 with a Street Fighter collab. There will also be new weapons, rewards, and alternate designs for exosuits launched.
Exoprimal Season 3 Roadmap
Season 3 will include another update in January 2024, Title Update 3, with new Beta variant exosuits and Neo Triceratops being added. The second Capcom crossover digital event will start as part of Season 3, this time being a Monster Hunter collab.
All of the new seasonal content will be added simultaneously to the game on PC, Xbox Game Pass, and all consoles, including Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
There is more content planning to be added as time passes, but for now, this is the roadmap we currently have available. Three seasons is plenty to look forward too, and with more collaborations and content coming, Exoprimal fans have plenty to be excited about.
There’s already a plethora of new weapons, matchmaking options, co-op experience, and a new foe since the launch, this early look at the future of Exoprimal is a great start.
